What we keep, and why.

The short version. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or ad trackers. We keep your email if you ask for the free sample, and Stripe handles your payment if you buy. We use that data to deliver what you asked for and nothing else. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

1. Who is responsible
The data controller for frankmuran.com is Ievgenii Muran, Passeig de Garcia Fària 57-59, 9-1, 08019 Barcelona, Spain, NIE Y9490245E. Email: support@frankmuran.com. “Frank Muran” is the author’s pen name.
2. What we collect

3. Why, and on what basis
- To deliver your purchase and your receipt, and to resend files if you lose them. Basis: performance of a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
- To send you the free sample and, after it, one or two emails about the full book. Basis: your consent (art. 6(1)(a)), given when you submit the form. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes one click.
- To keep accounting and tax records of sales. Basis: legal obligation (art. 6(1)(c)).
- To answer your messages and handle complaints. Basis: contract and our legitimate interest in supporting customers (art. 6(1)(f)).
- To prevent abuse, such as shared download links or fraud, and to keep the server running. Basis: legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not sell personal data, build profiles, or use automated decision-making.
4. Who else sees it
- Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland) processes payments and issues receipts. Stripe acts as an independent controller for payment data; see stripe.com/privacy.
- Email. The free-sample mailing list is stored on our own server, and the follow-up emails are sent from our own mailbox, support@frankmuran.com. No third-party newsletter service is involved.
- Our hosting provider Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) runs the server where the site, the lead list and the download counters live, as a processor. Data stays in the EU.
- Public authorities, if the law requires it.
No one else receives your data. The site loads no fonts, scripts or images from third-party servers.
5. How long we keep it

6. Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, pixels or advertising trackers, which is why there is no cookie banner. The only thing stored in your browser is your light/dark theme choice, saved in local storage on your device. It is never sent to us. If we ever add analytics, we will add a consent request first and update this page.
Links to Instagram, TikTok and YouTube open those sites, which have their own cookies and policies.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- tell you what data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct it if it is wrong;
- delete it, unless we must keep it for tax records;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- hand it over in a portable format;
- withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time, by clicking unsubscribe or emailing us.
Email support@frankmuran.com from the address you used with us. We reply within 30 days, usually much sooner. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, aepd.es), or to the authority in the EU country where you live.
8. Data outside the EU
Our server is in Germany. Stripe may process payment data on servers in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, and you can ask us for details of the safeguards in place.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. Purchase files are never public; they are released only after Stripe confirms a payment. Access to the server and the lead list is limited to the people who run the site. Card data never touches our systems.
10. Children
The products are for working adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you think a child has given us their email, tell us and we will delete it.
11. Changes
If we change how we handle data, for example by adding a new tool, we will update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes affecting people on the mailing list, we will also say so by email.
